Selected project examples

The Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) has launched a program to enable private project developers to invest in renewable energy through a direct proposal submission program. FMC supported the MEMR during the implementation of the program over a period of 9 years. This included selection of prequalified project developers, preparation of bidder documents for the submission of bids, preparation of relevant contractual documents, in particular the power purchase agreement (PPA), management of the bidding phases, evaluation of the bid documents and support for MEMR and the grid operator, NEPCO, during negotiations through to the closing of the financing.
