Selected project examples

A large German public utility association was looking for a strategic hydrogen project in the heating sector for southern Germany. Two of the leading regional natural gas suppliers from southern Germany were identified from the portfolio of the public utility association for this. Various use cases were analyzed together with the two regional suppliers. Fichtner assisted in the identification of a possible pilot project and the corresponding evaluation. The ideas were thereby briefly described using project profiles (value proposition, signal character, user groups/customers, risks, advantages, costs, revenues, time schedule as well as partners and competences). They were then evaluated on the basis of assessment criteria (strategic fit, signal character/degree of innovation, feasibility, cost framework, expandability and fundability).
